Highlights
Some of the highlights of our Morocco tour are shown below.
Todgha Gorge
Situated on the east side of the High Atlas Mountains the Todra Gorge is one of the world’s most spectacular canyons.
Here, both the Todra and Dades Rivers have carved out cliff-sided canyons.
The Todra is the name of the last 600 meters (just under 2,000 feet) of the canyons. In places, this gorge measures just 33 feet across, but the cliffs are more than 500 feet tall on either side.
Dades Gorge
The gorge (actually a series of separate gorges) was carved out by the passage of the Dades River and is navigable via a road known locally as the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs.
Once we have navigated the hairpins it’s time for lunch with a view
Tizi n’ Tichka
The Tizi n’ Tichka is a mountain pass linking the south-east of Marrakesh to the city of Ouarzazate through the High mountains.
It lies above the great Marrakesh plains, and is a gateway to the Sahara Desert.
Tizi n’ Test
The Tizi n” Test is a small pass in the High Atlas mountains.
We take a whole day to travel the pass from Marrakech to Agadir.
The pass is at 2,093 metres (6,867 ft), where a commemorative plaque certifies that the road was laid between 1926 and 1932.
Roads
We take you on some stunning roads with great views and yes there is a road through the Sahara!
Guided tour of Fes
Join us on a half day walking tour of Fes medina with our friendly local guide, who will show you the sights, sounds and smells of this ancient city.
